The Exchange
From June 27 to July 2, Break The Divide will welcome 15 youth and students from Ghana to participate in our first ever “Global Citizens Students and Youth Exchange Program.”
About
This global cultural experience for international students organized by Break The Divide and GrassRoots Hub will serve to connect students to communicate and create change in their communities.
The 2019 Exchange will be held from June 27th to July 2nd, 2019 in Vancouver, British Columbia and will attract approximately 50 participants from around the world. The gathering will help connect students & youth worldwide to get them personally connected to issues and to support youth-led initiatives in BTD global Chapters.
GrassRoots Hub based in Ghana is an eco-entrepreneurship and SDGs Innovation Lab with global community of grassrooters making impact and social good. They educate, innovate and incubate start-ups and connect accelerators to leading companies, research institutions, foundations, non-profits, and investors.
Details:
Students and Youth from Ghana and Canada will take part in numerous workshops to learn about one another’s culture. Facilitators and Mentors will be from Ghana and Canada.
Scholarships and Bursary
Break The Divide and GrassRoots Hub is providing scholarships for accommodation, food, transportation and airfare through network partners and foundations.
