    We were featured in the Canadian School Counsellor Newsletter, which is distributed to high schools across Canada.

  • Canada’s Walk of Fame

    Our Co-Founder Abhayjeet Sachal was honored as Canada’s Walk of Fame 2019 Community Hero. A moment of pride for all of us at Break The Divide.

  • CTV Feature

    Our co-founders Sukhmeet Sachal and Abhayjeet Singh Sachal were interviewed on CTV about Break The Divide and our origin story.

  • Shaw Kindness Grant

    We were awarded a $5000 grant from Shaw to help expand our program by providing technology to new partner schools and to create an app for easier student connection.

Guest Lectures and Events

Our journey hasn’t just been about accolades, we’ve also had the privilege of being guest lecturers at the University of Kassel in Germany, speaking about our work in tackling the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

We’ve also organized successful events like Break The Stigma at Tamanawis Secondary School and Seaquam Secondary School. See Justin Trudeau’s letter to BTD for this initiative!
